Why, yes. it has been a while since my last update. But for very good reason- this lady has been busy-busy with MNfashion. Nevertheless, Ruby3 will be making an appearance this year at Voltage: Fashion Amplified as part of the PFT Couture runway segment on Friday, April 16th, 2010. Headdresses will be available at the Voltage boutique (a pop-up boutique at First Ave during the show) and i like you after the show.
An MNfashion production, Voltage is an innovative runway rock show held each spring as the highlight of Spring MNfashion week, held this year April 16-25. The show debuts each designer’s Spring 2010 line alongside a premier lineup of bands.
Behind the scenes, Voltage: Fashion Amplified is a design incubator that helps designers take their business to the next level. With that singular goal in mind, MNfashion is formulating a Sewing Cooperative and will be hosting a Voltage Workshop Series at their Northeast Minneapolis studio location. And to further promote the musicians, Voltage Rock shows will take place preceding the big event featuring both past Voltage bands.
MNfashion is dedicated to providing resources and professional development allowing designers to establish a sustainable livelihood. In doing this, we foster community and create a thriving, sustainable, local fashion industry.

Anna Lee of Ruby3 is honored to be designing the costumes for Live Action Set’s next play, My Father’s Bookshelf. Assisting Ruby3 is designer and fiber artist, Stephanie Amann,
More info on the show:
The Guthrie presents My Father’s Bookshelf, a world premiere by Twin Cities theater makers Live Action Set. In collaboration with members of the Minnesota Alzheimer’s community, Live Action Set has created a tragic comedy about our collective response to dementia. In a world of doctors, care providers, lost memories and people who try to take away the car keys, one extremely affable, optimistic man with Alzheimer’s disease explores the joys of life, set against the struggles of his family and the passionate lecture of a neuroscientist.
As part of My Father’s Bookshelf audiences are invited to participate in post-show discussions with community members who live and work with Alzheimer’s.
